Maybe I am spoiled. I don't think I have ever seen a mess like this at the beach.
Mr. C, that's the story of my life.Nina, we have gnarly cedar trees around here. Stunted because of the (former) climate and occasionally nasty winds. This is the root system from a rock-grown cedar.
I see lots of things in that, including a dessicated bat! :)
