Lovers Left Red-faced
A local man from Selfoss on a quiet evening stroll was surprised to find a truck belonging to a fellow local lit-up and parked in an isolated area. When the owner arrived to turn off the lights, he was surprised to find a pair of lovers in the seat of the vehicle making love, who in the heat of the moment hit the light switch by accident. However, the owner of the truck was happy to discover the truck started at first go and that the lights had not drained the battery, mbl.is reports.

LOL Meatloaf's hit song, "Makin' Love by the Dashboard Light" comes to mind and memories of misspent youth. (blush)
ReplyDeleteThat story made me laugh too. Their stories are often about such small things. Our news is all full of negative stories when actually most people are living simple, ordinary lives...I'm sure all the "bad news" has a negative effect on morale.
ReplyDeleteI can't think of too many better uses for a truck. More leg room and all that. And now spring has officially begun.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the law suit in Dk several years ago where a woman said she could view a couple coupulating on the the beach from her window. She wanted her beach desigdaded "non nudist" The judge ruled that there were not nudist or nudist in beaches, however, intimate relationships should occur at least ----- km from
ReplyDeleteoccupied homes.
As I read the verdict I could not help but chuckel: "put your binonulars away.!
Kay, my first "automotive experience" was in a '64 Ford Galaxy.
ReplyDeleteIrbii, these stories are much better than most of the "news".
CD, definitely the stuff of spring.
Nina, when looking out over the beach near one of my cousins' apartment I noticed not all of the sunbathers were wearing bathing suits. I averted my eyes, eventually.
Can't imagine escaping into the night in Iceland. Especially naked. Buuurrrr!
